Camp Fish Tales was established in 1993 and has been in its present location since 1996. We are within easy driving distance of the Great Lakes Bay Region, Detroit, Flint, mid-Michigan and northeast Michigan cities and towns. The site is located on 67-1/2 acres of beautifully wooded land in Pinconning, Michigan. The setting includes a 5-acre pond with an available pontoon and kayaks, beautiful garden areas and a tiered fire pit, approximately 2 miles of paved hiking trails, and outdoor sports facilities for hockey, archery, bowling and basketball.
On-site buildings include two residential cabins with lavatories, showers, and sinks. Each cabin has sleeping quarters to accomodate twenty people. Both buildings are equipped with heat and air conditioning. The site also includes a main lodge with a commercial kitchen, dining area, fellowship room for gatherings, and a game/recreation room.
While the camp functions in its traditional role as a residential summer camp from the beginning of June until the end of August, its 67-1/2 acre facility is available for rent from September 1 through the end of May. The camp is an an ideal setting for adults and youth enjoying retreats, family reunions, bridal and wedding showers, special events, meetings and all other types of gatherings.
